The subject is not really fun but as it's critical regarding the future of mobility, we need to have a closer look at it.
For us, the objective is simply to enjoy a lane wide enough, flat enough (limited sideway slopes) and free of obstacle, curb, stairs, ..... which is not that easy when you consider that a curb ramp (see pic) will cause a sideway slope in the other direction... which implies 3 meters wide sidewalks... !
Considering the amount of work and public investment needed, it's better to be able to adapt to the lack of infrastructure than to hope for a miracle.
That's the purpose of the Flexible Mobility : a narrow vehicule, naturally stable to deal with all slopes and light enough to climb a curb if no ramp is available...
